Anthropomorphics Archive Content Policy
On NSFW Content
Anthropomorphics Archive hosts content that is Not Safe For Work due to mature or sexual themes. Sexual NSFW content will be marked as such on their corresponding page(s).
This archive will not publicly host pornography depicting rape, characters who are children, or non-anthropomorphic animal characters. This is simply not content I am comfortable with hosting, and I will not make any changes to this policy. An uncensored version of this material will still be stored in our private archives for purpose of historical recording and preservation, and can be provided to other archivists, researchers, or historians upon request.

On Offensive Content
Being a Fandom that, especially in its early days, is dominated by white men, some foundational Fandom content is ridden with offensive and insensitive themes. Some subgroups of the Funny Animal Fandom, whose tropes carries into the furry fandom, made content specifically to be as outrageous and inappropriate as possible- while other material was made out of ignorance or indifference to various cultures and social issues. Hoping to properly Archive all of furry without any sugar-coating, offensive material may be posted here unaltered, and if so it will be accompanied by a proper content warning.
This policy for dealing with offensive material was drawn after encouraging discussion in this blog post and accompanying twitter post. If you have suggestions for ways I should change this policy, or think I have missed a content warning on a piece uploaded here, please let me know on the Contact page!

On Problematic Artists
As with most fandoms, some despicable people have gained promenance within the furry community. We do not seek to white-wash their involvement in furry, so their work may still be included in uploads to the archive. We still wanted to identify particularly abhorrent individuals (such as convicted rapists and child predators) in the credits of uploads on the archive to acknowledge the suffering they have caused, so that information will be included beside their names in the upload's description. The parenthesis besides these individuals applies only to them, and should not alone affect our views of other artists who worked alongside them.
If we missed adding this information beside an individual's name in an upload, please Contact us and let us know.

On Content Hosting
I host materials that were originally publicly available for free, or are no longer in print. If a work is still being sold by it's original creator/distributor, available digitally by the artist, or otherwise available in a way the original artist(s) can profit on, I will not host that material here. Sometimes it can be hard to find artists' websites where material may be hosted, so if I have made a mistake on this front please Contact me!
Some material on this website may include copywrite characters. I will not unilaterally ban such material, but will take it down if requested.
