About Anthropomorphics    Archive!

Anthropomorphics Archive is a blog and gallery dedicated to cataloging pieces of furry history! Here we host comics, conbooks, and other art and literature created by the furries, funny animal fans, and other related fandoms that feature anthropomorphic animals. While this site started out as an archival of it's owners personal collection it's grown into a collection of work submitted and gathered from all over the web, in hopes of creating an easily navigable and searchable database of furry texts. To learn more about what we host (and what we don't), check out our Content Policy!

This website was started as a passion project of furry artist Zafy- that's me! I have an interest in the origins of furry and a particular love for the art created by the early furry community. After running Vintage Funny Animals, an account on Twitter (RIP) posting older furry content, I fell especially in love with lots of the furry comic books, zines and anthology works circulated in the 80s-90s, and wanted to start my own collection and share what I can with others!

My main fursona is a Donkey-Okapi hybrid, but I've also been known to be a toothy white cat, a long-horned Baphomet, and a 4-eyed cat-wolf.

I can be found on Tumblr @Dyke_Donkey
Also newly volunteering for the archival effort is Ian, an underground comics fanatic and wannabe funny animal historian. His fursona is undecided. He may say hello now and again!
